Ki Breathing Ki breathing was not meant to only help us improve our Aikido. It was meant to help us improve our whole being, in everything we do. Ki breathing has physical benefits: improvement of circulation, strengthening the body's immune system, delivery of fresh oxygen and evacuation of waste gasses to and from every cell, and bringing fresh Ki into our body in great quantities. Those who start a Ki breathing program will notice an improvement in their health. It has mental benefits in that it helps us relax the mind, which is the way toward inner peace. It has spiritual benefits, in that while doing Ki breathing, you are one with the universe, and can follow the rhythms of the universe. Life gets much easier when that happens.
